Illumined
Why “illumined” you ask?
700 years before Jesus the Christ arrived, the Old Testament prophet Isaiah prophesied:
“The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.”
The darkness Isaiah spoke of is the state of being alienated from God. When a person is alienated from God, their perception of truth and reality becomes distorted. The soul is disoriented—it is moving toward eternal separation from God.
The light Isaiah described represents restored communion with God, which brings clear perception of truth and reality and leads to eternal life with Him.
Jesus Christ is the great light Isaiah foretold. He brought light into a spiritually dark and dying world and has illumined the darkness for us.
Isaiah was prophesying what Jesus declared seven hundred years later in John 8:12 when Jesus proclaimed “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

The intent of this website is to shine God’s light into a dark world where many are deceived so that they would be set free from the lies that have held them captive in the dark.
As you can see from this blog, the most important thing in my life is my faith in, and love for, Jesus the Christ.
In 1986 God sent an elderly woman in to my path who shared the Gospel with me. I recall her attempt to talk to me about God consisted of just a few sentences – and for that I am forever grateful to her. I am living proof that God can use the few words of a disciple to open a person’s ears to the truth of His word. This gives me hope for my own attempts to share the Good News!
My prayer and my hope is that God will send people, maybe just some ‘one’, to this website and that they will learn something of our wonderful and magnificent God. The Bible calls this “planting a seed.” Please, look around the website!
